Rico Ortiz welcome to our family

This is our new little dog Rico. He is two and a half months old.

He is so dang little, and cute.
This is our little guy. He doesn't bark yet, but he runs around the yard. He is doing well potty training. We got him on Friday November 2nd 2007. Rico was born August 20th 2007. Sierra loves him so much, she calls him her son, and my grandson. I never would have thought we would have gotten a dog, but this one is so dang cute. He is a very lovable, cuddly dog too. He is so tiny and no one can resist loving him. What a cutie pie.

The Mall of America Minneapolis, MN

Sierra is on the third level of the mall. You can see the Amusement park in the background.
There are several levels in this mall with about 600 stores in it too.
You can see the next two levels below us and the rotunda down below.

Purple Rain and Prince in Minnapolis at the Hard Rock

Prince is very tiny, his clothes were so tiny that Sierra could probably fit in them.

Dina and I used to love Prince so much, back in the 1980's. I still like him pretty much. He has some great music, and Dave my husband has his first album ever, that is on vinyl of course. My cousin Marcy and one of our friends Dana and I went to his concert, and we loved every minute of it, so I was loving the Minneapolis Hard Rock Cafe, althought I wish they had more memorabilia to show, since this is his home town and all.

Sierra had a great night trick or treating today. She got tons of candy and her wig stayed on and everything. She had a great Halloween 2007, and we are looking forward to Halloween 2008, she already knows what she wants to be.......stay tuned for next years costume.

Carving Pumpkins

We had gone to the pumpkin patch to pick out our pumpkins, and we almost forgot to carve them. We did get them carved, finally, and we had a fun time doing it too.

Hard Rock Cafe Minneapolis

We went to the Hard Rock Minneapolis, this will make my 15th Hard Rock Cafe visit, not to mention the Hard Rock Hotels. We took the light rail from the Mall of America and went to the Hard Rock, it was small and quaint and had a few cool things in there. I dont know why I love to go to these but I do. I hope to see them all, eventually. My visits to hard rock have only been in North America but hopefully now that we have our passports we will get to see more international ones. My favorites have to be San Antonio, Orlando, and New York.

The Hotel in Minneapolis The Country Inn Suites

Sierra was playing on the computer there, and was having a blast. We also had a free shuttle that picked us up from the airport and took us to the Mall. We swam, sat in the hot tub, and watched a little TV. They had free homemade chocolate chip cookies and candy, and a great breakfast in the morning. We had a wonderful time there in Minnesota.

Mall of America Legoland

Here are a few of the Lego things that were built there at the Mall of America. They also sold legos and had an area for the kids to play, and make cars and race them on a little track that timed them. Sierra played and played there for about 2 hours and loved every minute of it, and made a little car and raced it too. It even won several times. We had a blast there and loved every minute of it.

Yoda Minnesota

Sierra is always talking about Hannah Montana, in fact she is going to dress up as Hannah Montana for Halloween. My brother Marty was teasing Sierra telling her "What about Yoda Minnesota". When we were at the Mall of America in Minneapolis, Minnesota, we in fact saw "Yoda Minnesota" and we had to take a photo of it. So here is my Brother Marty and Sierra with "Yoda Minnesota".

Cesar was doing a book signing the day we went to the mall.
He looks like a pretty personable person too.




We just happend to be passing through the mall to take the Light Rail to Downtown Minneapolis. The day before this I spent 10 hours at the Mall of America, but the day we just quickly passed through was the day Ceasar was there. We did not stand in line to get his autograph but we did get a close look at him and took these few photos. He looks like he is pretty nice, and cute too.

Sierra was so excited to decorate so we put up a few things today, and she was in heaven doing it. We have some more inside stuff to put up and I have some pumpkin lights for the front of the flower bed that stake into the ground. Sierra will be in heaven once we finish decorating.

Hmmmm..........I love this place!!!!
Look at the great view of the mountains against those pumpkins in the pumpkin patch. We even have a little snow already. Although we were wearing shorts while we were hunting for the pumpkins.

Sierra had a blast choosing her pumpkins, and we had a blast running around that field. This field is in town and not to far from our house. It has a great view of the snow capped mountains too.
